Chaos Axe dye - Pink?
Hi everyone,
Chaos Axes seem to receive reversed effect from dyes... I'd like to color mine Pink-ish but I can't think of a combo for it. Has anyone managed to dye it red/pink-ish? Please let me know. TY. |

you'll want to play around with blues and greens for pink (mixed together in different amounts looks nice, can also start with a blue or green or both and try adding others)

Blue and green makes a strong bold pink, if you want to try and make it more red, try adding another blue or two.

pink == purple?
That's a nice screenshot Turbo. Thanks, and I mean no disrepect ... I understand that applied dyes look different than what we might think but...
I'm kind of confused because, in terms of colors, red + white = pink. why is the purplish bottom right image considered "pink"? Also, the image labeled "blue" looks awful red to me. I do appreciate you taking the time to post the images but they don't jive with what I expect out of the colors I grew up with. Is this really just a case of "it turns out different when you apply dyes" or have I become colorblind? |

The Chaos Axe is an oddity when it comes to being dyed.

You have to look at the picture and look at the color you want, when you see the color yu want, you see which color the text says you need to use to get that color. Yes Chaos axes the colors dont come out as you would expect,they come out somewhat reverse. |

If you think that's weird, check the dye chart of the Storm Bow .

P.S. You know you get a dye preview screen when you doubleclick an item with dye right? That way you can check all possible combinations before actually applying dye. Last edited by Dzjudz; Sep 13, 2009 at 07:00 PM // 19:00.. |
